Kontextual helps you capture the people you meet by scanning a business card, sharing a digital card, or collecting sign-ups at an event, and follow up with the right context, at the right time. Sign in with your email (we'll send you a one-time code, no password needed), then create your first digital card or contact list.
Every person you capture (manually, from a scanned card, or from a public capture form) becomes a contact. Add notes, tags, and follow-up reminders, and organize contacts into lists. Contacts are private to your account; they're never published anywhere.
A list groups contacts around an event or purpose (e.g. a conference or meetup). Each list has its own capture link and QR code (kontextual.app/c/<code>) you can share. Anyone who fills it in is added to that list. You can require an email address on submission, tag contacts in bulk, schedule follow-ups, export a list to CSV, and archive a list when it's done.
Take a photo of a business card in the app; we extract the name, title, company, and contact details automatically so you can review and save them as a new contact. Review carefully before saving. OCR and AI extraction can occasionally misread a card. See our Privacy Policy for how scanned images and extracted text are handled.
Each digital card has its own public link and QR code (kontextual.app/v/<code>). Anyone who opens the link sees your public profile, with no account or app required. We never show your stored email or phone number on a public card. You can create more than one card and mark one as primary. Deleting a card or regenerating its link removes public access to the old one.
Public capture forms (kontextual.app/c/<code>) let anyone with the link submit their contact information into one of your lists, which is useful for events and networking. If you require an email address, the form won't submit without one. You're responsible for how you use information collected this way. See our Terms of Service.
Subscriptions are purchased and managed through the App Store. Manage or cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. Cancelling there stops future renewals. Refunds are handled by Apple.
See our full Privacy Policy for what we collect, how business card scanning and AI extraction work, and who we share data with to run the Service.
Kontextual doesn't yet have an in-app delete-account option. Email privacy@kontextual.app from your account's email address and we'll delete your account and associated data within a reasonable time.
A link or QR code isn't working: double check you're using the latest link. Codes can be regenerated. If a card or list has been deleted, its link will show a branded not-found page rather than an error.
Send us a message and we'll reply by email. You'll also get a copy of what you sent for your records.
